Crestwood House is taking a field trip to the old west this week as co-host Shawn joins Paxton & Michael on their western’s podcast Hellbent for Letterbox to discuss the 1990 anthology flick Grim Prairie Tales. Starring James Earl Jones and Brad Douriff, this little seen film has not been on physical media since its release back in 1991 on VHS and LaserDisc. The three of us exhume the flick and take a hard look at how it effectively uses the framing story to tell increasingly poignant short stories (well, mostly poignant.)

Join us as we discuss feminism in horror, succubi, the all too true horror of lynchings and just how much Jones’ character hates Jacksonville !
