One of the fun aspects of cult film fandom is digging through old film-centric magazine back issues to find articles and interviews about our favorite flicks. Not only do these provide some interesting at-the-time insights from the directors, cast and crew, but they can also be a treasure trove of behind the scenes photos and deleted material that never ended up in the final cut of the film. These old magazines were as close as we got to DVD/Blu-ray special features back in the 70s and 80s.
Since we’re covering a horror film this month on the Cult Film Club it gave me an excuse to dive into my collection of vintage Fangoria magazines to revisit their coverage of the 1986 heavy metal Halloween classic Trick or Treat. So we thought it would be fun to share these articles with the listeners. Enjoy!
