Welcome back to the Cult Film Club.  For this winter season we thought it would be a great time to break into the genre of kid’s fantasy by taking a look at the 1985 bonkers Disney flick, Return to Oz!  Seriously, on what level is this movie not batshit insane?  Between the archaic shock treatment asylum, the decimation of Oz, a fight against a headless witch, to amassing a cadre of friends who are all soulless in their own unique way, this film made kids scream and cry with wonder and fright (that is, if they even saw it growing up.)

We talk about the crazy script, the history of the Oz books and films, the standout cast and the music of David Shire.  So strap yourself into to the animated flying gump bed thing and join us as we discuss one hell of a film.
